Weavers Mudra Scheme (WMS)
<p>Weaver MUDRA scheme offers financial assistance to handloom weavers involved in weaving activity through weaver’s credit card or term loan.The financial assistance is provided for working capital, purchase of tools & equipment, as well as to make available the credit to identified handloom weavers.</p>
Dynamic Subsidy Scaling Matrices
Under the official guidelines of this scheme, final margin money subsidies scale dynamically based on your gender, region of business setup, and social categories. Below is the detailed rate catalog:
Benefits Details
- Principal: Hypothecation of assets such as raw material, finished goods, equipment, plant & machinery etc, created out of bank loan & margin.
- Collateral: the loan must be covered under credit guarantee scheme of CGTMSE/CGFMU.
- 20% of project cost- ministry of textile- GOV. of india to bear margin @20% of project cost with maximum of Rs 25,000 balance margin money amount to be paid by borrower.
- Interest subsidy- To provide loans at the interest rate of 6% to handloom sector. Maximum interest subvention would be capped at 7%.

Online Submission
Submit your promoter profile and bank-ready DPR details on the official nodal portal.
Nodal Review
Department agency verifies your details and forwards recommendation to local banks.
Bank Sanction
Bank evaluates credit feasibility and sanctions the term loan and working capital.
Subsidy Release
Nodal agency releases capital margin money subsidy to a TDR block accounts.
