  • PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) is a Special Micro-Credit Facility launched by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, for providing affordable loans to street vendors.
  • Facilitates collateral free Working Capital loans of upto Rs 10,000 for one year tenure.
  • Interest subsidy on timely/ early repayment @ 7%
  • Monthly cash-back incentive on digital transactions up to Rs.100 on undertaking prescribed number of digital transactions.
  • On timely repayment of the first loan, higher loan eligibility of Rs.20,000 and Rs.50,000 in the second and third tranches respectively

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Government support programs are strictly intended for setting up **new** micro enterprises and commercial expansions. Existing units availing of other programs are not eligible.

The program offers margin capital subsidy. However, bank credit interest schedules will be charged at standard commercial base lending rates unless supplemented by state interest refund policies.

The Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) training course is mandatory for all subsidy releases and takes around 5 to 10 days depending on the project investment scale.
